The College premises was agog with excitement and celebrations as the College held its matriculation ceremonies for newly admitted students into the College degree programmes in affiliation with Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, and NCE programmes.
The two events which took place separately on Monday, 3rd March, 2025, marked the official induction of the fresh students into the academic community, setting them on the path to intellectual and personal development.
Delivering her address, the College Provost, Dr. Modupe Oba-Adenuga expressed immense joy and pride, describing the ceremonies as a significant milestone in the lives of the newly admitted students. She emphasized that their journey into higher education comes with immense opportunities for learning, self-discovery, and transformation.

“You have passed a rigorous selection process to be here, and we are confident in your potential to excel in your chosen fields,” the Provost remarked. “Beyond academic excellence, you will be nurtured in character and vocational skills, equipping you to face the challenges of the future with confidence.”
The College Provost highlighted the steady progress of the degree programmes offered in affiliation with Olabisi Onabanjo University, noting that two sets of students had already graduated and were currently undergoing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme. She underscored the College’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards and producing graduates who are not only knowledgeable but also socially responsible and skill-oriented.
She urged the new intakes to seize the numerous opportunities available within the College; and encouraged them to immerse themselves fully in the learning process, engage meaningfully with their peers and lecturers, and uphold the values of integrity, discipline, and excellence. She cautioned them against involvement in cultism and other anti-social behaviors, urging them to remain worthy ambassadors of their families and the College.

To the parents and guardians in attendance, the College Provost expressed deep appreciation for entrusting the College with the education of their children. She assured them that the College remains committed to providing quality education that blends academic knowledge with practical skills and sound moral values.
Dr. Oba-Adenuga also acknowledged the unwavering commitment of the staff members, commending them for their dedication to shaping the future leaders of the country. She urged them to continue in their mentorship roles, ensuring that students receive the guidance necessary for academic and personal success.
The ceremony concluded with an atmosphere of excitement and optimism, as the matriculants, parents, staff, and other dignitaries looked forward to a productive academic year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences.
